YOU must do whatever it takes to find happiness.” ## Introduction: After completing his medical degree at the University of Pretoria, Dr Ferreira started his training as a psychiatrist at the Weskoppies Hospital in Pretoria. During this time, he initiated the study and was co-author of a study on the “Prevalensie van seisoenale gemoedsversteuring onder psigiatriese buitepasiente by Weskoppies Hospitaal en H.F. Verwoerd Hospitaal” (Prevalence of seasonal affective disorder amongst psychiatric out-patients at Weskoppies Hospital and H.F. Verwoerd Hospital) which was published in Geneeskunde vol. 36 nr. 8 p.5-11. Forensic Psychology involves the evaluation of patients in criminal cases to determine whether a psychiatric condition has influenced the patient when committing a crime. The clinic has its own private vehicles to transport patients to Pretoria East Hospital, Wilgers Hospital for specialist referrals and radiological investigations. The clinic has a gymnasium and a big physiotherapy section. One-to-one private sessions with an occupational therapist, social worker, or pastoral therapist are available. Each patient consults a private psychiatrist and a private psychologist every day.
